Procedure of pasting cracks
1. No liquid may be running out of the crack; it must be dry and clean. The maximum temperature of the cast iron should be 35 °C.
2. Degrease the surface thoroughly and remove oil from the crack, best using TECHNOSOL®, and them dry the crack as well as possible using compressed air.
3. Apply NOVADURIT® N 111 to paste the crack in all its thickness. Continue applying it until it stops being absorbed. After application, let the sealed crack at rest for about 3 hours. Application can be repeated after about 7 hours.
4. Then let the putty harden for about 12 hours at the minimum.
